What's your Condition?

"Just do it" is one of the most recognizable calls to action in the world.  "If you can dream it, you can do it.  Be all that you can be.  Seize the moment.  Go for it."  These are all phrases designed to inspire action.  You can't help but internalize theses phrases and act on them.

In Human Design, only Manifestors are designed to thrive in a "take what's yours" world.  Their Human Design purpose is to initiate things.  They start successful businesses; they sell businesses.  They invent things, build things, and pioneer new ideas with ease.  Manifestors are well suited for the "just do it" ideology; the world is their playground.

Where does that leave the rest of us?  Haven't we all been taught to "just do it"?   Of course we have.  The really important questions are:  Were you designed to initiate action?  Are you a Manifestor?  What is your Human Design Type?

Being taught to do or act in a way that does not come naturally is called conditioning.

Conditioning starts from the moment you were born.  If you were fortunate, you had people around you who saw your unique personality, your gifts, and your temperaments.  They offered protection, guidance and wisdom as you grew up.  They did not try to change who you were but told you were awesome just the way you were.  They kept you safe while you experimented with who you were.

However, more often than not, many children grow up in an environment where expectations are already outlined for them.  Who they really are is set aside.  So no matter what their natural abilities and gifts are, they are conditioned away from them.

The effects of not living an authentic life can be devastating.  Living a conditioned life can cause people to be confused about who they are.  They make life decisions for the sake of others rather than to satisfy themselves.  These decisions never truly make them happy, and they rarely work out the way they want them to.  These people become sad, negative, neurotic, depressed, bitter, frustrated or even angry individuals.  Frustration, anger and bitterness become themes of their life.

An authentic life flows.  It has a joyful theme.  A conditioned life feels terrible because it is not your life.  How can you undo the unnatural patterns of a lifetime and make decisions based on who you really are?

First, stop acting like a Manifestor because most likely you are not one.  Second, find out what your strategy is for living an authentic life.  Third, start using it daily.

A Human Design chart and reading gives you your design and strategy.  Your Design is “who you are”.  Your Strategy is your “how to be”.  Knowing your Design and Strategy starts the "de-conditioning" process.

I invite you to reclaim the life that feels most natural to you.
